Role Description

Overseeing sales operations, managing corporate and MICE-related customer service, leading a sales team, and driving business development initiatives to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.

Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities.
  • Ensures appropriate efforts are expanded on the solicitation and development of local and international corporate and accounts defined in the assigned portfolios.
  • Keeps a good record of top 20 top accounts from the above sectors and establish business development plans for such top room nights generating companies.
  • To actively solicit new potential accounts within areas assigned.
  • Engage with booker, influencer and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
  • To participate actively in sales blitz as directed by Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
  • Under the direction of Director of Sales & Marketing analyze market changes and implement programme to meet the changes.
  • To ensure One World Hotel is the preferred hotel for corporate FIT and convention in Petaling jaya and to convert businesses from Kuala Lumpur.
  • Ensures that all site visits conducted and handled in the most professional manner and effectively.
  • Full capable of making decisions on rate and room block commitment through effective analysis of programme history and hotel marketing strategy/budget.
  • Ensure that one-stop shopping concept is applied at all times for any lead generated for convention business.
  • To assists in directing all sales activities in sales personnel to ensure that they meet the goals of the business plan.
  • Adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Role Description

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing within the limits of hotel policies and procedures, effectively execute sales activities to maximize business opportunities for the Hotel.

 

Qualification & Skills Requirement

  • Demonstrate discipline in carrying out duties with consistency.
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills in handling challenges.
  • Project management skills, able to plan and execute effectively.

Job Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities.
  • Complete sales targets and related tasks set by the hotel.
  • To ensure seamless relationship between clients and other departments.
  • To assist Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare proposal, contract and banquet event order of clients.
  • To actively solicit new potential accounts within areas assigned.
  • Engage with booker, influencer and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
  • To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
  • To ensure that group resume, long stay memo, site inspection memos, VIP List and other important information are distributed to support department in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with clients and other relevant departments to ensure all arrangement of event is in order and meets the client's need.
  • To follow up on client's enquiry and to show prospective clients the facilities of the hotel.
  • To ensure client's satisfaction by getting feedback before and after event.
  • Adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
