ONE WORLD HOTEL SPREADS POSITIVITY TO LOCAL ORPHANAGE DURING RAMADAN

PETALING JAYA, 11 MARCH 2026 – In line with its ongoing Corporate Responsibility efforts, One World Hotel hosted a heartwarming Ramadan initiative for the children from Persatuan Kebajikan Anak- Anak Yatim Hajah Kamariah, welcoming 35 children aged 5 to 17 along with 5 caretakers for a memorable evening of creativity, fun and sharing. Held from 6.00 PM to 9.00 PM, each child was provided with a complete air-dry clay crafting kit by Mosaic Art Studio to bring home, allowing them to enjoy the creative activity while learning new skills at their own pace. Each kit contained all the necessary materials along with tutorial slides, enabling the children to recreate festive Hari Raya designs such as ketupat and traditional kuih.

Before proceeding for Buka Puasa, the children also had the opportunity to capture fun moments at an Instant Print Photobooth set up for the occasion. The photobooth allowed them to take cheerful photos with their friends and caretakers, creating delightful keepsakes to remember the evening.
Following this, everyone came together for Buka Puasa at the hotel’s renowned Cinnamon Coffee House, tasting a wide array of dishes from the Ramadan buffet. In addition, the hotel presented several essential small appliances to support the Home’s daily needs, while the children received goodies and duit raya as part of the celebration. The smiles and laughter shared throughout the event were a testament to how even modest acts of kindness can build meaningful moments of joy.

Commenting on the event, Mr Chris Niuh, General Manager of One World Hotel, shared: “During the holy month of Ramadan, it is important to remember those in need within our community. We hope that by offering our support, we can not only bring joy and practical assistance but also create lasting and delightful memories for these underprivileged children.
